On the morning of September 24, the Second China-Japan-Republic of Korea Youth Forum was held at Sichuan University. About 180 representatives from 30 universities of China, Japan and South Korea attended the meeting. Professor Yan Shijing, Assistant President and Director of International Office attended the opening ceremony.
As an important platform to enhance exchanges and friendship among young people from China, Japan and South Korea, China-Japan-Republic of Korea Youth Forum is held once a year. The first forum was held in Tokyo, Japan from September 12 to 17, 2010. This year, the forum was moved to Chengdu, China, hosted by Sichuan University. China-Japan-Republic of Korea Youth Forum aims to deepen mutual understanding of the youth from China, Japan and South Korea and promote integration and progress in East Asia through exchanges and cooperation among young people.
