What: Network security and privacy are critical issues for our society. There are numerous attacks in the cyber space, such as DDoS attacks, information phishing, financial fraud, privacy attacks. In this talk, I will report our published work on DDoS attack traceback and detection (IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems), and anonymous communication (Oxford Computer Journal). Furthermore, I would like to discuss the current hot topics on botnet and complex networks, and looking for comments and potential collaboration.
