The College of Architecture and Environment at Sichuan University currently has four departments: Department of Architecture, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering, and School of Environmental Science and Engineering; There are 4 doctoral and master's degree authorization points in the first level disciplines, including civil engineering, mechanics, environmental science and engineering, and urban and rural planning. There are currently 3 national key disciplines, including solid mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and biomedical engineering, as well as 4 postdoctoral mobile stations. In addition, we are recruiting professional graduate students from 5 directions: civil engineering and water conservancy, resource and environment, materials and chemical engineering, urban and rural planning, and landscape architecture.
In terms of discipline construction, the college insists on strengthening the overall leadership of the CPC over the work of the college, taking moral education as the fundamental task, facing the major national and local needs, training top-notch innovative talents, and achieving high-quality and connotative development. The college strives to build a leading domestic and internationally renowned first-class discipline group by 2035.
