【 Civil Engineering 】

In recent years, through integration, Sichuan University has formed a new civil engineering major, which includes four majors: civil engineering, water supply and drainage science and engineering, engineering cost, and building environment and energy application engineering.

【 Engineering Mechanics 】

The core modules of engineering mechanics include theoretical mechanics, material mechanics, continuum mechanics, computational mechanics, experimental mechanics, computer theory and operating systems, programming, computer graphics and image processing, interface technology, database technology, and object-oriented programming.

Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, mainly engaged in the research and development of engineering software in enterprises, companies, and research institutions in civil, mechanical, aerospace, computer and other industries. They can also continue their studies in domestic and foreign research institutes.

【 Environmental Engineering 】

The degree suitable for student,  who plans, after graduation, to work in environmental pollution control, environmental planning and management disciplines. In addition to public core modules, the main courses are: engineering drawings, process design, electrical and electronic technology, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, environmental data processing, biochemistry, environmental microbiology, environmental management and planning, environmental monitoring, environmental quality evaluation, air Pollution control, water pollution control engineering, solid waste disposal and usage, noise control, water supply and drainage networks, pumps and pumping stations, environmental engineering testing technology etc.

【 Architecture 】

According to the Ministry of Higher Education professional training requirements in Architecture, the course mainstream is based on Architecture, expanding to arts, engineering, project management, humanities and social science knowledge. Students accept professional architectural design training, which includes interior design and computer aided design skills, enabling them to demonstrate their ability in architecture design, interior design, urban planning, landscape and project management skills.
