Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) announced the list of projects to be funded by the National Key Research and Development Program of China in 2023. Professor Guo Hongguang of the Department of Environment of the college declared that "High-throughput Identification and Sensing Frontier Technology Research and Development of New Pollutants and Other Risky Substances in Water" of the young scientist project "Comprehensive Governance of Water Resources and Water Environment in Key Basins of the Yangtze River, Yellow River and Other Key Watersheds of the Ministry of Science and Technology" has been successfully approved, with a national allocation of 2 million RMB. The project is led by Sichuan University, with Tsinghua University and Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences as participating units.
Since 2020, the college has been approved by the National Key Research and Development Program of China every year, contributing to the construction of first-class disciplines in the college and the construction of "double first-class" in the university!
