A wide range of chiral compounds that are potentially important synthetic intermediates are readily accessible using our methods. The result of our group’s efforts established chiral building blocks that are otherwise difficult to prepare. In several cases, we have expanded the utility of the asymmetric reactions we have developed in the concise synthesis of chiral drug molecules and biologically active chiral compounds.
