On December 2, 2025, a delegation from the School of Accountancy at Singapore Management University (SMU) visited Sichuan University Business School. The delegation included Professor Zhang Liandong, Dean of the SMU School of Accountancy; Wang Jiwei, Director of the MPA & MSA Master’s Programs; and Li Meng from the Master’s Programs Admissions Office.They were received by Vice Dean Wu Meng and Chen Rui, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

On behalf of Sichuan University Business School, Vice Dean Wu Meng extended a warm welcome to the guests. He introduced the School’s progress in disciplinary development, faculty strength, talent cultivation, and internationalization, outlining its distinctive achievements.

Wang Jiwei from Singapore Management University shared updates on the SMU School of Accountancy’s program offerings, admissions policies, and student development initiatives, enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the two institutions.

Both sides then engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaboration areas, including joint academic programs, international conferences, and faculty and student exchanges. The dialogue laid a solid foundation for further substantive cooperation in the future.
