To help new international students adapt to campus life and integrate into the Business School community, the International Office of Business School successfully held the 2025 orientation session on the morning of September 19, 2025 at the Wang Jiang Campus.
First, Associate Dean Professor Wu Meng delivered a welcome address on behalf of the school. He warmly welcomed all new students and expressed his best wishes for students to gain knowledge, friendship, and personal growth during their time at
Sichuan University Business School.
Next, Ms. Chen Rui from the International Student Office gave a brief introduction to the history of the Business School, its academic strengths, and distinctive educational features. She also provided students with a detailed overview of the school’s training programs, curriculum design, assessment and management systems, as well as important reminders for daily life.
Following this, Mr. Luo Xun from the International Student Office used real-life examples to remind students to pay close
attention to traffic, internet, property, and personal safety, emphasized the importance of complying with Chinese laws and
university regulations.
Afterwards, all faculty and students gathered in front of the Business School building for a group photo.
The group then visited the Sichuan University Museum, where they listened attentively to guided explanations. The rich
collections of Bashu cultural relics and ethnic folk artifacts allowed the international students to experience firsthand the
historical depth of Tianfu’s thousand-year legacy.
The orientation concluded in a warm and cheerful atmosphere. With great enthusiasm, the new students truly felt the
hospitality of the Sichuan University community and the profound charm of Bashu culture. They are now filled with
confidence and excitement for the journey ahead. We look forward to seeing them write their own unique “Chinese stories”
on the beautiful campus by the Jinshui River.
