On December 6, The 2nd Doctoral Academic Workshop at Sichuan University, hosted by Graduate School of Sichuan University and undertaked by Business School of Sichuan University, was held in business school. Professor Wu Peng, Deputy Dean of Business School attended the opening ceremony. More than 100 experts, scholars, teachers and doctoral students from China or abroad attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Wu Peng delivered a speech on behalf of Business School. He extended a warm welcome to all the experts, scholars and doctoral students. He briefly introduced the international exchange and cooperation of business school in recent years, and emphasized the purpose of the this workshop. He hoped that this Workshop could promote academic exchanges among experts and scholars, and provide an important impetus for students' thinking ability and academic ability.
After the group photo, the experts, scholars and doctoral students shared their research results in their respective fields, which of them are from China, Germany, South Korea, Ireland, New Zealand . Eight professors and four doctoral students gave academic reports on their topics respectively. They had a heated discussion on issues of mutual concern, and The Q&A session were actively participated by teachers and students at he meeting hall.
The purpose of The 2nd Doctoral Academic Workshop is to build a high-level academic discussion platform, which could gather outstanding young talents all over the world, to discuss the research about hot issues or industry development trends. This activity was carried out in the form of keynote speech and interactive communication, which played an important role in further opening up academic vision, enlightening academic inspiration and promoting academic exchanges. It was unanimously praised by the teachers and students attending the workshop.
