A Visit to Sichuan University Business School by the Visiting Group of Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University

   On June 12, 2019, the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University paid a visit to the Business School of Sichuan University. The executive dean, Professor Wu Peng together with Professor Liu Haiyue, warmly welcomed the visiting group and participated in the exchange meeting.

  The exchange meeting was started with a fabulous lecture delivered by Professor Liu Haiyue. In her lecture, Prof. Liu profoundly analyzed the opportunities as well as challenges faced by the Chinese economy in the process of going global, and gave vivid explanations based on specific corporate cases. In the last part of her lecture, combined with the innovation of Chinese management science, Professor Liu gave an in-depth analysis to the core of Confucianism.

  After the lecture, the visiting group visited the Museum of Sichuan University History and the Sichuan University Museum under the guide of the staff from the International Office of Business School. After the wonderful explanations in English of volunteers from the school history museum and museum, the visiting group not only got a more perceptual understanding for our century-old university, but also had an unforgettable experience of the customs of Sichuan and knowledge of the cultural characteristics of Chengdu.

Sichuan University Business School has been adhering to the academic openness, and conducting academic exchanges and cooperation with universities around the world. It’s believed that this visit made it a more colorful journey of “the Land of Abundance” for the visiting group of Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
