On the October 26, 2012, the annual autumn sports games of Sichuan University was held. A total of more than 40 representative teams coming from the colleges and departments of the university participated in the faculty games.
The athletic faculty game was formed of novel components, diverse projects,and full of fun. A total of 14 collective class projects and personal individual competition projects, were designed to promote the national fitness campaign and promote the faculty to develop daily physical exercise habits. In the Game, the entire playground was filled with joyous atmosphere. Shouting, cheering and laughter were intertwined. Teachers were based on the thoughts of focusing on participation and striving for success, making the sports higher, faster, stronger spirit and healthy living concept together , full of joy in the practice of national fitness campaign.
The College of Business Administration Labor Union meticulously organized the teachers to participate in the Games. It organized 10 faculty members including teacher Xiong Wen Yu to dance in the Games opening ceremony performance, selected 61 faculty members to participate in the game of all groups and all projects, arranged logistics personnels responsible for the photography, press releases writing and service assurance, and organized the cheering squad for athletes cheer. With our joint efforts, oue College of Business Administration achieved the best results in history with 11 points, again making a breakthrough in the the total score of the faculty Games. Teacher Zeng Weilin got the third place in the men's long jump final test. Teachers Wang Pingping got eighth place in the women's shot put final test. The College also got the Organization Award due to good organization and propaganda work.
After the games, the participants said that they usually were very busy and they often overlooked daily exercise with the growing pressure. The Faculty Games can raise the enthusiasm of the faculty exercises, strengthen the communication and collaboration between each other, and further enhance the cohesion and solidarity. The Faculty Games also played a good role in promoting the teachers to work better in future.
