On the afternoon of April 4,Ms. Annie Lo, Senior Vice President and Chief Officer for Asia Pacific of AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)visited Sichuan University Business School. Prof. Fumin Deng, Deputy Director of the School of Business, and Prof. Peng Wu, Vice Dean, warmly welcomed Ms. Annie Lo. Representatives of the relevant departments of the college attended the seminar.

At the beginning of the talks, Executive Vice President Fumin Deng first represented the Business School to extend a warm welcome to Ms. Annie Lo’s visit. Subsequently, he introduced the development history, status quo, and philosophy of the business School of Sichuan University. Vice Dean Peng Wu introduced the situation of the college’s participation in the accreditation at home and abroad, and briefly introduced the progress of the preparation of the AACSB commercial accreditation application.

Ms. Annie Lo said she was very pleased to come to the Business School of Sichuan University, which is a prestigious university for centuries, to exchange views, and fully affirmed the active participation of various relevant departments of the business school. Ms. Annie briefed everyone on the basic situation of AACSB, and specified the AACSB accreditation process and the key points of each link. She also introduced AACSB's membership services, annual meetings and seminar schedules.

In the questioning session, Ms. Annie conducted an in-depth exchange with the participants and provided detailed answers and guidance on the problems encountered during the preparation of the AACSB.

The talks ended in a good atmosphere. This visit provided a good foundation for the Sichuan University Business School to speed up the application for international accreditation of AACSB business studies and cooperation with AACSB Asia Pacific region. Both parties are looking forward to future cooperation.
