Administration & Supervision Leaders of Sichuan University Went to Business School to Investigate Fine Course Construction

Administration & Supervision leaders of Sichuan University steering committee went to Business School to investigate fine course construction in the morning, on 15th, June 2009.

Investigation meeting was held at 9:00 in the704 conference room of Business Administration Building. The participants attending this meeting were seven experts from Education and Supervision Collegium of University, Vice-president Ren Peiyu who is in charge of teaching, Vice-president Xu Jiuping, Prof. Wang Xianyu who is in charge of fine-designed courses, Prof. Jie Xiaowen, assistant director Mi Dechao, and teacher representatives of other fine-designed courses.

At the meeting, vice president of the College Ren Peiyu first made detailed presentation on basic thinking, planning and general construction to supervisors of University Steering Committee. Subsequently, Prof. Xu Jiuping, who was in charge of two provincial fin-designed courses "operations research" and "Management economics", and Prof. Wang Xianyu and Jie Xiaowen who are in charge of fine-designed courses "Game Theory and Its Applications" and "strategic management", made statements reporting the experiences, understanding and difficulties in fine-designed courses construction to experts.

After hearing the report, Experts of Schools Steering Committee pointed out that the College of Business Administration attached great importance to fine course construction with clear plan and forming excellent experience and thoughts that they hoped teachers can summarize. Referring to the difficulties and problem existing, they would send for information back to the school leadership, and also hope School of Business Administration can summarize actively, explore new ideas, strengthen communication, work actively, promote construction of fine-designed courses, and realize the exemplary and leading role of advantages of fine-designed courses.
