The Forum of Dr. Teacher Representatives Was Held in Business School

The forum of Dr. teacher representatives was held in Business School on September 7, 2009. The representatives attending in the meeting are the new young recruits this year, the young teachers getting doctoral degree in recent years, and the ones achieving significant fruits in research and academy.

The leaders attending this forum are: the executive vice-president and prof. Yang Jiang; vice-president and Prof. Xu Jiuping, Prof. Ren Peryu, Prof. Li Guangjin and so on.

Professor Yang Jiang, the executive vice president, firstly introduced the history of Business School, discipline architecture, the current situation and future missions to the new recruits this year, introduced the history of College of Business Administration, discipline architecture, the current situation and future missions. He encouraged the new teachers to grow up as soon as possible. Meanwhile, he hoped young doctoral students should work for development of our school continually, getting more achievements for the improvement of school, getting new heights, to success in their mission.

Professor Li Guangjin, the Vice-President, introduced the status of degree-oriented education in our school and lack of teachers in teaching the professional courses, all of which provided detailed information for teachers to prepare well in teaching pointedly.

Professor Ren Peiyu, Vice-President, introduced the condition of undergraduate education in our school, and required new entrants to comply with the teaching management regulations related to undergraduate education. At the same time, he announced the new "Scientific System of Incentives" to encourage teachers to write more high-qualified papers and apply for high-level research projects.

Professor Xu Jiuping, Vice President, introduced discipline structure of management, current distribution of management disciplines in Sichuan University, and the structure of the national human resources projects detailed. He required that young doctoral students should be reliable in politics, excellent in research, and responsible in action; they also should achievements in research and maintain cademic integrity and academic ethics. He encouraged young teachers that Sichuan University belongs to the whole world, they should strive for the chance of study abroad and enlarge international version of themselves.

Finally, as new young tutor of doctoral students, Gu Xin and Luo Li introduced the growth of themselves and experience in achieving fruits of scientific research.

Subsequently, the leaders attending in this meeting communicated with young doctoral students deeply.
