The Eleventh Chinese Annual Conference on Management Science Was Held in Business School

The Eleventh Chinese Annual Conference on Management Science was held in Conference Hall 205# of Business School on 17th Oct. 2009.

There were many honorable leaders who presented the opening ceremony, such as Liu Ying-ming, standing committee member of CPPCC and member of Chinese Academy of Science; Professor Tang Xiaowo, Deputy Director of Sichuan

Provincial Education Department; researcher Xu Weixuan, President of China Optimization, Overall Planning Method and Economic Mathematics Association; Professor Chen Xiaotian, the former Deputy Director of Management Sciences

Department of National Natural Science Foundation and other leaders from relevant departments. Professor Xu Jiuping, the Associate Dean of Business School of Sichuan University, presided over the opening ceremony.

The theme of this conference is “Dealing with crisis: the mission of management science”. Meanwhile, many outstanding academicians, who won National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, made keynote speeches for this conference.
