The first discussion meeting ofBusinessSchooleighth Alumni Association Branch of Sichuan University was held at 6:30pm on Dec. 30, 2010. This meeting was presided by associated Prof. Zhang Liming, in which Professor Yang Jiang, Xu Jiuping, Doc. Li Xiaofeng and all deputies from other departments attended.

This meeting was organized by Business School Alumni Branch under the support of school leaders, which presented that Business School Alumni Branch was the only first-level delegate for Sichuan University Alumni association. There are totally eight sub-branch Alumni association under Business School Alumni Branch, that is, undergraduate branch, graduate branch, adult education branch, MBA branch, EMBA branch, ME branch, CEO branch, and Research class branch. To arrange the relation was aiming to regulate the management to alumni, connect them more widely, and devote more and more for the development ofSichuanUniversityand society.

Prof. Yang Jiang and Xu Jiuping made speeches respectively, in which they expressed their appreciation to alumni, and praised the achievements whatBusinessSchoolhad got in the past year. They showed the point that we should get together and work harder for the brighter future as we are a whole family. Meanwhile, they said the best benefit forBusinessSchoolwas not the economic income, but the achievements they would get in the future work, which was also the real aim forSichuanUniversityeducation.

During the meeting, President Yan Tongming, Mr. Hong Qingpeng all made speeches as delegates. The main leaders of Alumni branch expressed their willing to access to the calling ofBusinessSchool, unity all sub-branches of alumni association, to create a broader communication platform for each other. Delegates from other sub-branches also said they would make efforts with each other for mutual development and win-win vision in the future. This meeting was ended in happy and harmonious atmosphere, which also sent a good signal for future work.
