Opening Ceremony of 2009 Spring Graduate Students and 2008 MBA/ME Was Held in Business School of Sichuan University in the 205 meeting room at the morning of March 28th, 2009.

The participants attending this meeting are Vice-president of Sichuan University Prof. Zhao Changwen, Dean of Business School Prof. Yang Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Committee Researcher Wang Yali, Vice-dean of Business School Yang Jiang, Vice secretary of the Party committee Lai Xinnong, Vice-dean Ren Peiyu, Vice-dean Li Guangjin, Vice-secretary of the Party Li Xiaofeng, director of executive office Chen Yong, Director of MBA training center, Vice-director Yan Jinjiang, Director of ME training center and representatives of faculty Prof. Gan Shengdao and Jie Xiaowen.

The ceremony was hosted by Vice-dean Prof. Xu Jiuping of Business School.

Vice-president of Sichuan University Zhao Changwen, Dean of Business School Zou GuangYan, Vice-director of Graduated School Yang Zhigang gave a warm speech warmly to congratulate with honors 242 students completing their studies, and expected them to uphold the spirit of Sichuan University "strict, diligent, seeking, innovative" in the future work applying their knowledge and achieving greater success to society. At the same time, they gave a warm welcome to spring 2008 enrollment of new students joining the Business School, and hoped that they would study hard and achieve outstanding results in more than two years of school life.

Chairman of Credit and Degree Committee and Executive Dean of Business School Yang Jiang, read out the resolution of conferring graduate students; Secretary of the Party Committee Wang Yali announced the list of “Excellent MBA Students; Vice-dean Ren Peiyu and Li Guangjin awarded certificate of honor” Excellent Supervisor of MBA Graduation Dissertation” to Prof. Gan Shengdao and Jie Xiaowen; Vice secretary of Party Committee Lai Xinnong and Li Xiaofeng awarded certificate of honor to the students with” Excellent MBA Dissertation”.

Professor Gan Shengdao on behalf of all the teachers sent a deep blessing and expectations to the students. The delegate of 2009 graduation students and 2008 new recruits made a speech respectively, expressing that they must dare to challenge and innovation in the future study and work, and would not live up to the teacher's training and achieve more excellent results.
