On June 5, 2018, foreign students in Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University came to visit Business School of Sichuan University.

At 9:00 AM in the morning, the visiting group came to the History Museum of Sichuan University. The interpreter told them the stories of outstanding alumni,showing the 120 years’ long history of Sichuan University. This activity not only gives the foreign students a deeper understanding of Sichuan University, but also more knowledge about the development of Chengdu, and even China.

Later on, the students came to the Business School of Sichuan University. At first, the associate dean of Business School, professor Wu Peng greeted the visiting group and he hoped that the foreign students could learn something from this visit. Then, professor Liu Haiyue delivered a lecture about the development of China’s economy.She began with IT technology, and then talked about Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and Haier.After that, she talked about the relationship between administration and culture, as well as the relationship between core competence and culture. At last, professor Liu shared with them her view on the future development of Chengdu.The students were quite interested in her lecture.

During the lecture, the students also exchanged their ideas with professor Liu, on the efficiency of China’s economic development, the future development of economy, and so on.

After the lecture, the visit of Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University came to an end. The students were satisfied with the visit.
